Nice experience, small issue

We booked an Alaska Kreuzfahrt with Princess Cruises. The ship was nice and the MedallionClass Service was pretty cool for opening doors and ordering drinks. Our Balkonkabine was clean and comfortable. The Landausflüge we booked through them were well-organized, but one of them felt a little rushed, like we didn't have enough time at the main attraction. Customer service was responsive when I had a question about our booking, which was good. It was a solid trip, just wish that one excursion had a bit more breathing room.

Consistent service, always return

This was my third time sailing with Princess Cruises, and they're consistently reliable. I usually go for their Nordeuropa Kreuzfahrt. Good value for Caribbean cruise

It's mostly smart casual for evenings in the main dining rooms. Some nights are 'formal optional' if you want to dress up, but it's not required.

Pretty relaxed. During the day, anything goes. Evenings are generally smart casual. There are a couple of 'dress up' nights on longer cruises but you can always hit the buffet if you don't feel like it.

Usually not directly. Most offers state they can't be combined with other promotions. Sometimes Captain's Circle perks are separate and can stack, but general discounts usually override each other.

It depends. Often the biggest discount wins, so if there's a big sale, you might not be able to add a smaller Captain's Circle discount on top. Best to check the fine print for each specific offer.

Nah, tips aren't usually included. You'll see a daily service charge on your bill for the crew. You can pre-pay it or it gets added to your onboard account.

They're not included by default. Some of the premium packages might roll them in, but otherwise, expect to pay them on top of the base fare. It's pretty standard for most lines.
